Mingo schools’ assistant superintendent promoted

CINDERELLA, W.Va. – The former assistant superintendent of Mingo County public schools now holds the top job.

The Williamson Daily News reports that Robert Bobbera’s first day as superintendent was Tuesday.

The State Board of Education appointed Bobbera to succeed Randy Keathley, who recently retired. Bobbera was named assistant superintendent four years ago. He previously served as director of secondary education and worked as a teacher and administrator at several Mingo County schools.
