Jay Leno, Frankie Valli highlight new season of Marshall Artists Series

Jay Leno, Franki Valli and Kathy Mattea will highlight the 78th season of the Marshall Artists Series with shows at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center in Huntington this fall.

Leno, the recently retired late-night legend, will perform Oct. 16.

Valli and his band The Four Seasons, recently immortalized in the Clint Eastwood film “Jersey Boys,” will perform the next night, Friday Oct. 17.

Mattea, the Grammy-winning South Charleston native, will perform on Dec. 12.

Others coming to Huntington for the 2014-2015 season of the artists series include American Idol-winner Phillip Phillips, The BBC Concert Orchestra, the Puccini opera La Boheme and several Broadway plays, including Anything Goes, Beauty and The Beast and Elf.

Season tickets are now on sale. Tickets to individual events will go on sale on Aug. 18.
