Child killed, three injured in Tyler fire

ALMA, W.Va. — A camper fire in Tyler County has killed a child and injured three other people.

Tyler County Sheriff Bob Kendle told WTRF-TV that the fire was reported around 1:05 a.m. Monday near Alma. Emergency responders found the child’s body in the camper after the fire was extinguished.

The other victims were taken to West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh. Their conditions weren’t known.

The victims’ names haven’t been released.

The fire is under investigation.
