Betty Lee Curnutte White, 89, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Charleston and Morgantown, WV, passed away at home on January 15, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born January 15, 1924 in Mannington, WV to the late Lawrence and Laura Troy and was one of four children. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded by her husband, William Curnutte.
She was a former buyer for Stone and Thomas Department Store, Charleston and was part owner of the U-Use Rentals in Morgantown, WV
Surviving is her daughter, Darlene Miller (Bill) of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Charleston; grandchildren, James Douglas Miller of Easley, S.C. and Donna Miller Schwan of Charlotte, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Tyler Miller and Jordan Schwan.
Service will be Noon Saturday, July 19 at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
