HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – A Huntington man convicted of robbing a drug dealer at gunpoint has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin says Kamel Auntae Burris, 31, was sentenced Monday in federal court in Huntington.

Burris pleaded guilty in April to using a firearm to further a crime of violence.

Goodwin says the case arose out of an investigation of a drug distribution gang. The investigation led to indictments against Burris and 14 others. Burris had been described as an enforcer for the gang.
