The West Virginia Small Business Development Center’s In-Tech program is planning a business education seminar in South Charleston to help entrepreneurs learn how to transform ideas into new products and get them to market
The West Virginia Innovates seminar will take place Aug. 21 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advance Flexible Manufacturing.
The program will focus on how to move a new product through the stages of commercialization. Topics will include business model options (including licensing versus creating a startup), learning how to analyze market potential, finding technical resources, financing and obtaining patents.
There is a $35-per-person fee for the seminar payable online or at the door. To register, visit the development center’s training calendar at www.wvsbdc.com, or contact Justin Gaull at (304) 957-2082 or email@example.com.
