Tractor-trailer overturns, spills beer, fuel on I-77

A tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 77 in Kanawha County Tuesday evening, spilling beer on the road and stalling traffic, according to State Police.

One person was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, according to West Virginia State Police Cpl. R.C. Workman.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. near the 74 mile marker on the turnpike near Standard.

Workman said the wrecker company and Courtesy Patrol cleaned up the beer.

Emergency responders also reported that there was fuel leakage.
