Corn at the Capitol

Rachael Kelly of Charleston teaches her 2-year-old daughter, Maggie, the fine art of eating corn on the cob at Wednesday’s West Virginia Department of Agriculture Sweet Corn Roast, at the Capitol. The department roasted about 50 dozen ears of corn to help promote farmers’ markets in the Mountain State.
State employees and others slathered their corn with squeeze margarine at the annual event.
