Mercer County courthouse closed because of bomb threat

PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Parts of the Mercer County Courthouse were closed today because of a bomb threat.

State Supreme Court spokeswoman Jennifer Bundy confirmed that a bomb threat shut down the main building of the courthouse. The offices of Circuit Judge Derek Swope, Circuit Judge William Sadler and the circuit clerk are closed for the day.

All other judicial offices are open, Bundy said.
