WVU wins grant for manufacturing partnership

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia University has won a $418,000 federal grant to support the West Virginia Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

The partnership is operated by the university and works with manufacturers in the state to make them more efficient and to help them create more jobs.

The manufacturing partnership also serves as an adviser to local businesses to help increase profits and build their workforce.

The funding was announced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller.
