West Virginia State Fair concert schedule

One of the biggest attractions of West Virginia State Fair is the grandstand concert series. This year’s slate includes country stars, oldies acts, a contemporary Christian singer and more.

Ticket prices include admission to the fair. That admission — for access to the free concerts and a host of other activities — is $10 for ages 13 and up and $8 for ages 6-12.

Concerts begin at 8 p.m. unless noted.

Little Big Town (country). Tickets $35 and $44.


Chris Tomlin (contemporary Christian). Tickets $27, $32 and $34.


McClain (teen pop featuring Disney star China Anne McClain). 2 p.m. Free.

American Pride (Statler Brothers tribute). 7 p.m. Free.


The Tams (soul/R&B oldies). 7:30 p.m. Free.


Scotty McCreery (country). Tickets $27, $30 and $32.


Wyatt Turner and Colton Pack (country music from West Virginia singers). 7:30 p.m. Free

Aug. 14

Foreigner (classic rock). Tickets $27 and $37 (standing room only for this price).

Aug. 15

Hunter Hayes with Sam Hunt (country). Tickets $42, $47 and $52 (standing room only for this price).

Aug. 16

Buckin B’ Bull Ride & The Swon Brothers: 7 p.m. (bull riding show and country concert). 7 p.m. Tickets $22 and $27; add $5 “bull pen upgrade” to move to track area for concert.
