Conley L. Marshall, 80, of Point Pleasant, passed away at Hospice of Huntington on Aug. 3, 2014, with his loving family at his side. He was born July 3, 1934, in Wyoming County, a son to the late Charles Marshall and Pearl Mae Forman Marshall. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and he was retired from the American Alloys Plant in New Haven after 55 years of service. He also attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Point Pleasant.
He was preceded in death with his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pauline Layton Marshall of Point Pleasant; two brothers; six sisters; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Deal Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. A military graveside service with full honors conducted by the Marine Corps Honor Guard of Charleston will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, at 1 p.m. at Atkins Cemetery, Naoma.
