Ralph R. Cobb, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Aug. 3, 2014.
He lived in Charleston, W.Va., for 46 years. He was employed for 28 years at Gravely Tractor in Dunbar, W.Va. He had proficient woodworking skills and spent many days in his workshop producing anything from end tables, deacon benches and rocking chairs, but was most admired for his rocking horses.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary, in July 2012, and is now reunited with her for eternity. Survived by his daughters, Rosalie (Jim) Meadows of West Chester, Ohio, Cinda (Bill) Garrett of Charleston, W.Va., and Judy Cobb of Cincinnati, Ohio; loving Pop-Paw Paw of Sheri (Doug) Hawkins, Troy Jarvis, David (Jodi) Jarvis, Greg (Betsy) Garrett and Tanya (Joe) Hutson; great Pop/Paw Paw of Ashlynn Hawkins, Reiden and Izaiah Jarvis, Allison and Rachel Garrett and Garrett and Grace Hutson; sisters, Elizabeth Woods, Alberta Saunders, Christine Asbury and Maxine Moore; and brother, Carl Gordon. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren. He was a Dad-like figure to Sondra and Nancy Young.
