GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Two women were killed in a head-on collision Wednesday evening in Glenville.
State Police spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous said Brenda Stump, 49, of Glenville, was heading east on W.Va. 5 in an SUV when she apparently crossed the center line and slammed head-on into another SUV driven by Misty Tomblin, 34, of Glenville. Both women were killed in the crash.
State Police troopers from the Glenville detachment responded to the wreck. Although toxicology reports were requested for both drivers, Baylous said troopers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
