Rahall, others to discuss substance abuse in W.Va.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Rep. Nick Rahall is bringing federal drug control officials to Huntington to meet with local officials, law enforcement and others on substance abuse and addiction.

The co-chairman of the Congressional Caucus on Prescription Drug Abuse helped organize this afternoon’s visits.

Officials are scheduled to discuss approaches to combating prescription drug abuse, tour areas of Huntington and visit a treatment center.

Those joining Rahall include Office of National Drug Control Policy Acting Director Michael Botticelli and other local law enforcement officials.
