Sixth-grade teachers from Horace Mann Middle School agreed to have ice water poured on their heads to meet an ALS ice bucket challenge from Assistant Principal Shandon Ryan-Tweedy on Friday. Teachers Kate Dodson (from left), Amy Ansel and Melissa Smith stand in line for their dousing as student Kerry Martin Jr. unloads his first bucket. The school raised close to $700 for the fight against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
