Celsius to host ‘20s-themed murder mystery dinner
Celsius is hosting an interactive murder mystery dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The show will be performed by Murder and Merriment and will offer an Italian buffet and featured drinks. Guests are encouraged to wear ’20s attire.

Tickets on sale for Capitol Market Farm to Fork Dinner
Featuring hand-picked ingredients from the market and Gritt’s Farm, Chef Paul Smith will create a four-course menu for Capitol Market’s Farm to Fork Dinner on Saturday.
The menu includes duck consomme with duck confit, roasted pear and gorgonzala tarlet on living lettuce, Wagyu beef cheek, gulf prawn, seasonal root vegetables and three-cheese risotto, and a 20th-anniversary surprise for dessert.
Wine and canapes begin at 6:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 7:30 p.m.

Grape Stomping Festival to return for 26th year
Kirkwood Winery’s 26th annual Grape Stomping Wine Festival will take place Saturday and Sept. 17 at the winery in Summersville.
The festival includes live performances by nine artists, including the Davisson Brothers Band, covered wagon rides, wine and whiskey tastings, grape eating and stomping, and distillery tours.
Tickets are $15 for those 21 and older, $5 for those 12 to 20 and free for kids under 12. Admission includes a free glass and tastings.

Wine and Jazz Festival to benefit community programs
The West Virginia Wine and Jazz Festival will take place Sept. 23-24 at Camp Muffly, in Morgantown.
The festival will include local wine, art, food and music. Proceeds benefit various community charities, including scholarships to the West Virginia University School of Music, sponsorship of educational endeavors and classes at WVU, free concerts for area middle/high schools, and more.
Tickets are $20 and include a wine glass and tastings. They are on sale at the event’s website and will be available at the door.
