Homework Buddies Program
The North Charleston Community Center is continuing its “Homework Buddies Program” from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning on Monday in the Homework Room at the center. Homework help is offered Monday through Thursday of each week in two 1-hour sessions. Volunteer tutors will be available in various subject areas to aid those students who have homework and to help them answer difficult questions. All class reunion
Charleston General Hospital School of Nursing All Class Reunion is going to be held on Oct. 14 at Embassy Suites in Charleston. Former students who have not been contacted or those who know a graduate who has not been contacted, call Donna Shortt at 304-722-4847.
Charleston Parks and Recreation will be hosting their first 5-Miler Trail Race at 10 a.m. on Nov. 18 at Cato Park. Registration is now open with an early bird fee of $25 until Nov. 1, after Nov. 1 the fee will be $30 to participate.
