Aging program

Putnam County Aging Program will hold a public meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at a senior centers to discuss its fiscal 2018 Provider Plan for Senior Centers. The public is invited to express their ideas for services they want senior service programs to provide. Putnam County Senior Centers that are participating are Buffalo Senior Center, Hometown Senior Center, and John Henson Senior Center. Public comments will be considered and incorporated into the two year plan as feasible. If unable to attend the meeting, comments will be welcome on their Facebook page or in writing and sent to the Central Office located at 2558 Winfield Road, St. Albans. Comments must be received by 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Democratic women’s luncheon

The Putnam County Chapter West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women will hold their monthly Luncheon an noon on Saturday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club. The cost is $13.50 per person. Guest speaker will be Tory Brewer, vice president of Putnam County Young Democrats. Bring a door prize. Must register by Wednesday To register, call 304-727-1509; leave a message if no answer.

Housing authority meeting

The regular meeting of the Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 at 1525 Washington St. W.
