Crews worked for hours Monday to clear the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 after a tractor-trailer hauling olives wrecked on the interstate bridge about a mile before the Dunbar exit. It happened at about 7:20 a.m. Monday. A portion of the truck was hanging over the edge of the bridge. The driver was taken to a local hospital, according to Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers. The road closed immediately after the crash but was reopened completely at about 1:45 p.m.
