CLARKSBURG, W.Va. -- Prosecutors and defense attorneys are asking a judge to delay the trial in a Clarksburg quadruple murder case.Sidney A. Muller of Fairmont is charged with four counts of murder. He's accused of fatally shooting 29-year-old Todd Russell Amos, 26-year-old Christopher Hart, 70-year-old Fred Swiger and his son, 47-year-old Freddie Swiger.
Police say the shootings of Hart and Amos inside an apartment were drug-related. They say the Swigers were bystanders who were delivering newspapers.The Exponent Telegram (http://bit.ly/1fWuYSf ) reports that attorneys say they need more time to examine evidence. Also, prosecutors are still awaiting autopsy reports.Muller has pleaded innocent. The trial is currently set to start April 14.
