Prior to joining the Gazette-Mail staff, Tom was a sports reporter and page designer for the Charleston Daily Mail, covered the Pittsburgh Pirates and their minor league affiliates for and was the sports editor at the (Fairmont) Times West Virginian. Tom currently resides in Cross Lanes.
