Erin Beck started at the Charleston Gazette-Mail prior to the merger, as a Charleston Gazette reporter in July of 2014. She has worked at HOPE, Inc., a domestic violence agency in Clarksburg, and at The Exponent Telegram. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in public health from West Virginia University. She grew up in Doddridge and Ritchie counties in West Virginia. Some of her interests include social justice, politics, live music, and the betterment of West Virginia.
