Senior Chase King collected a triple-double with 14 points, 22 rebounds and 11 blocks as Herbert Hoover ran past Nicholas County 77-55 on Senior Night Tuesday in Elkview.
Grant Bonner fired in 15 points, Gavin Robertson 13 and Joah Payne and Kody McGraw each added 11 for the Huskies (9-11). Luke LeRose led the Grizzlies with 18 points and Nick Nutter netted 17.
Winfield 69, Sissonville 42: Braeden McGrew and Andrew Huff scored 19 points each to pace the General (12-7) over the Indians (12-7) at home. Winfield outrebounded Sissonville 50-22 and Tate Hancock added 12 points for the Generals. Chance Brown and Brady Jones each scored nine for Sissonville. Winfield is 4-0 in February, including wins over top-10 foes Poca and Sissonville.
Capital 90, Ironton (Ohio) 62: Leondre’ Rogers hit for 21 points to lead the Cougars (15-4) to a home victory. Anthony Dean added 18 points and Anthony Pittman 11 for the Cougars.
Woodrow Wilson 77, Parkersburg 62: Isaiah Francis scored 29 points as the host Flying Eagles (15-5) won for the eighth time in nine games. Courtney Walton added 17 points for Woodrow, which locked up the No. 2 spot in the Mountain State Athletic Conference East Division and will play Huntington in the consolation game of the MSAC Night of Champions at 4 p.m. Saturday in South Charleston. Karson Snyder (15 points) and Kam White (14) led the Big Reds (13-6).
Riverside 58, Ripley 57: The Warriors (4-15) won their third in a row, rallying from a 27-11 deficit midway through the second quarter to down the host Vikings.
Huntington 71, Cabell Midland 48: Mikal Dawson dropped in 26 points as Huntington took down host Cabell Midland after trailing 20-19 late in the second quarter. John Dawson added 17 points for the Class AAA No. 6 Highlanders (14-5). Jovaun Light led the Knights (3-18) with 16 points.
Buffalo 68, Hannan 50: Austin Starcher hit for 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Bison (5-12) at home. Nathan Casto added 14 points for the Bison. For the Panthers (7-11), Corey Hudnall had 20 points.
Fayetteville 80, Greater Beckley Christian 45: Will Fenton scored 20 points and Marcus Lively had 18 as the undefeated Pirates (19-0) routed the Crusaders (10-10) at home. For Greater Beckley, Garrett Matherly scored 14 points and Chance Potter added 10.
Scott 57, Wayne 34: Brandon Elkins scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Scott picked up a home win. Cole Moore recorded 11 points and Hunter Adkins added 10 points and 10 boards for the Skyhawks. Justice Ramey-Ross led the Pioneers with 10 points.
Clay County 73, Braxton County 70: Zack Dorsey hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 2.4 seconds left to lead the Panthers (3-17) over the Eagles (7-12) at home on Senior Night. Isaac Workman poured in 31 points and Thomas Haverty had 17 for the Panthers. Tayton Stout hit for 20 points and Cole Browning had 14 Braxton.
Morgantown 78, Parkersburg South 58: Torin Hanson had 31 points as Class AAA No. 4 Morgantown took down the visiting Patriots. Nicky Solomon added 17 points and Nick Malone scored 14 for the Mohigans (16-4). For South (9-10), Cole Plants poured in 19 points and Bobby Foggin scored 15.
Tug Valley 105, Man 41: Class A No. 7 Tug Valley jumped out to a 30-5 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a home win. Tyler May scored 27 points to lead the Panthers (12-8) while Garrett Brown added 19 points, Mason Layne chipped in 12. Logan Whitt tallied 11 points to lead Man.
Greenbrier West 72, Webster County 71: Adam Johnson completed a three-point play to give West the lead and Dalton Gray’s shot at the buzzer was just off for Webster as the vistiing Cavaliers (11-9) escaped with a win. Noah Midkiff led West with 22 points with Johnson chipping in 14 and Hunter Bevins and Riley O’Dell 11 each. Gray led all scorers with 27 points for the Highlanders (12-8) with Bradin Miller adding 13 and Dorian Groggs 11.
Wyoming East 71, PikeView 37: Jazz Blankenship tossed in 24 points as Wyoming East rolled to a road win. Megan Davis donated 12 points and Emily Saunders scored 10 for East. Laken McKinney paced the Panthers (8-12) with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Roane County 63, Herbert Hoover 48: Lucille Westfall hit for 30 points and Kristen Blosser added 11 to pace the Raiders (12-9) over the Huskies (2-20) at home. For Hoover, Kristen Belcher scored 12 points and Allison Dunbar had 11.
