Nitro’s Seth Jordan named Gatorade W.Va. Boys Soccer Player of the Year

Nitro boys soccer player Seth Jordan was named Monday as the Gatorade West Virginia Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

The junior forward scored 52 goals and added for 13 assists this past fall, helping the Wildcats (19-2-3) reach the Class AA-A state semifinals in Beckley. Jordan was named both the Gazette-Mail Kanawha Valley Player of the Year and the West Virginia High School Soccer Coaches Association Class AA-A Player of the Year. He is a two-time All-State selection.

Jordan also has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics and has collected soccer equipment to aid needy children in Ethiopia.
