Rising junior quarterback Logan Holgorsen announced Friday on Twitter that he will transfer from Morgantown High.

Holgorsen, the son of West Virginia University football coach Dana Holgorsen, tweeted, “After many long talks with my family, I have decided to trander from MHS. I apologize to anyone that is let down by this decision. As it was extremely hard on me. I have nothing but great things to say about Morgantown High School. I want to thank my teammates, coaches, teachers, and administrators for making these past two years the best two years of my like. Thanks you. Please respect my decision.”

As a sophomore, Holgorsen completed 85 of 157 pass attempts for 1,355 yards and 14 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He did not announce where he would transfer to.
