It's August and thoughts turn to football
It's mid-August, and this is the time of the year when only a few things matter in terms of television ratings and the national sports fans: The Olympics and the start of the NFL season.  Baseball is pushed to the back burner.
Local touches at Canton and Cleveland
MOST OF MY Sundays in the fall are spent in various NFL stadiums around the country. After spending this week in Canton and Cleveland for pre-season games, I have already seen a great deal of local flavor on the NFL scene.
