I understand that at least one, and possibly more of the Alcohol Beverage Control Administration officials under investigation by federal authorities for allegations of accepting gifts, travel and other considerations in exchange for favorable treatment for liquor distributors and bar operators are cooperating with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Charleston.

Attack ads against McGraw finally arrive
It was late in coming and scaled back in scope, thanks to the Wall Street meltdown, but the onslaught of ads from the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse, and the American Tort Reform Association against Attorney General Darrell McGraw finally arrived last week.
