The Charleston Light Opera Guild returns to the Clay Center with the musical "Little Women." The show runs this weekend and next.

The Charleston Light Opera Guild will present “Little Women” at the Clay Center, in Charleston, this weekend.

Shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Performances are also set for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6, and 2 p.m. Nov. 7.

The musical, based on Louisa May Alcott’s book, is the beloved story of the four March sisters as they journey into adulthood and life during a time when women were only supposed to grow up, get married and raise children.

Directed by Nina Denton Pasinetti, the cast includes Megan Sydnor-Collins, Lori Conn, Elaina Smith, Brooklyn Nelson, Su Voycik-Meredith, Jacob Fleck, Austin Muncy, Hope Griffith, Eric B. Hudnall, Stevie Jenkins, Nina Surbaugh, Emma Alley, Hannah O’Brien, Megan Wright, Taylor Shaw and Mark Felton.
