The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair features dozens of crafters and artisans, some of whom make their art before your eyes.

The 57th Annual Mountain State Art and Craft Fair returns today to the Cedar Lakes Conference Center near Ripley.

Considered the “granddaddy” of West Virginia craft fairs, the annual festival features live music, live heritage craft demonstrations, lots of food and a wide variety of artisans and crafters selling their wares.

The fair closes Saturday night.

The fair is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, tomorrow and Saturday.

Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and military personnel and $5 for youth. Admission for everyone is reduced to $5 daily during the hours of 3 to 6 p.m. today and Friday and from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday.
