Concerts @ St. John’s
The Leviathan Trio will perform on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1105 Quarrier Street, as part of the Concerts @ St. John’s series. The event is free, with donations accepted and a reception to follow.
Members Lindsey Goodman on flute, Hannah Pressley on cello and Joseph Dangerfield on piano have returned from an extensive and successful concert tour in China. They will present on their tour program of recent American works and old masters. For more information, call 304-343-4355.
The exhibit “Brian Michael Reed: In the Crosscurrent,” runs at the Huntington Museum of Art through Feb. 3. This exhibit juxtaposes the work of the artist with work from the museum’s Collection of Haitian Art and is curated by special guest curator Laura Roulet.
An opening reception will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. HMA is located 2033 McCoy Road in Huntington.

Lip Sync Battle
Greenbrier Valley Theatre is excited to announce its upcoming fundraiser, the ’70s Lip Sync Battle and Dance Party, on Saturday. The doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the lip sync battle will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include two drink tickets and a vote for the Lip Sync Champion. “Mountain Stage with Larry Groce” will welcome Americana group The Lone Bellow, River Whyless and more at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Culture Center. The Lone Bellow’s third studio album, “Walk Into a Storm,” was released last fall on Descendant Records/Sony Music Masterworks. River Whyless, a North Carolina-bred folk-rock band, recently released its new album, “Kindness, a Rebel.”
