The Woody Hawley Concert Series and FOOTMAD will present “The Lost Show,” the music and stories of Hank Williams, hits as well as some of his lesser-known songs and compositions, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Clay Center. Williams was supposed to perform at the Municipal Auditorium Dec. 31, 1952 but canceled due to an ice storm. He passed away the next day on his way to a New Year’s Day show in Canton, Ohio. FOOTMAD will pay tribute to the final show he never made it to Charleston to perform. Tickets are $25 through the Clay Center website, theclaycenter.org. The Hank Williams Tribute is produced by FOOTMAD in cooperation with the Woody Hawley Concert Series.
