Peckfest moves forward without Hank Jr.

With some changes, the Peckfest music festival returns to Point Pleasant today with two nights of concerts.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels performs tonight with Buckcherry, but Hank Williams Jr., who had been scheduled for Saturday, has pulled out due to an unspecified dispute with the promoter.

Instead, country singer C.J. Solar will perform Saturday along with Shana Smith and Adam Calvert.

Tickets for the festival start at $55.

According to Peckfest’s Facebook page, fans who’d intended to come for the Saturday-only show can exchange their tickets to see Friday’s show.
