Rod Run and Doo Wop rolls back into town


Classic cars return to Charleston this week for the annual Rod Run and Doo Wop.

Kanawha Boulevard will see another crop of classic and collectors’ cars this weekend with the annual Rod Run and Doo Wop. Along with acres of vintage vehicles, there will be activities for the kids, food vendors and nightly concerts with Bill Pinkney’s original Drifters Thursday, Ricochet Friday and The Vogues with the Legacy Motown Revue Saturday. Saturday’s show will close with fireworks. The Rod Run and Doo Wop rolls out Sunday afternoon. Admission to the public is free.
