There are many fun things to do in October for teens. Here are some fun events that are happening this month:

West Virginia Book Festival

Attention all book lovers! The annual West Virginia Book Festival will be held on Oct. 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the newly renovated Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. This event celebrates books, reading, writing and creativity. At this free event you can meet your favorite authors, visit different vendors and find amazing deals on books, movies and music at the huge used book sale (Saturday only). There will be events for all ages.

West Virginia Pumpkin

Festival

If you love anything pumpkin, this festival is definitely for you. At this one-of-a-kind festival, you will find everything from craft vendors, live music, beauty pageants, and of course, pumpkin flavored everything. The pumpkin festival runs from Oct. 4 to 6 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Oct 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $8 on Thursday and Friday and $10 on Saturday and Sunday. Parking is free. The festival is located at WV Pumpkin Park in Milton.

Glow Big or Glow Home

at SkyZone

Sky Zone will be holding their GLOW Big or GLOW Home event again this month on Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 25 at 9 p.m. With lasers, music and black lights, Sky Zone is transformed into a jumping dance club. Sky socks are required. Prices are varied depending on how long you want to jump: $17 for 60 minutes or $25 for 120 minutes, plus $5 purchase of reusable Glow shirt per person. The Sky Zone is located at 500 Southridge Boulevard in Charleston.
