To celebrate its one-year anniversary of supporting and encouraging woman entrepreneurship in West Virginia, Boss Babes is hosting a Boss Babes Bazaar at the East End Bazaar, located at 1429 Washington Street E., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature more than 30 vendors from women-owned businesses, food trucks and local community organizations. The group aims to provide resources for women through empowerment, networking and supportive platforms, particularly for women-run businesses.

“What better way to support our entrepreneurs than by providing them with an opportunity to sell their wares and services, or talk about their community organizations? We want locals to realize that by supporting women owned businesses financially, they are uplifting families and communities at their core,” said Boss Babes founder Kayla Young.

She added, the event is an opportunity to get an early start on Christmas shopping — and put money back into the local economy.

“We’ve got everything from skin care products, to produce, to tarot readings, to a cheer team raising money, to clothing vendors. There is something for absolutely everyone.”

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Boss Babes Facebook page.
