4-H day camps coming to Coonskin this month


Kanawha County 4-H day camps for 2019 will be held the week of June 24-28 at the Columbia Shelter of Coonskin Park in Charleston.

Cloverbud Day Camp will be for campers age 6 to 8 and STEM Day Camp will be conducted for ages 9 to 13.

The cost is $85 per camper. A $45 deposit is due to the Kanawha County 4-H office by Friday, June 14, to reserve a spot. The balance can be paid at camper dropoff on Monday, June 24.

If your camper is not able to attend after their deposit is paid, contact the 4-H office so the spot can be offered to another camper. Deposits may only be refunded if a refund request is received by letter, email or phone class by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 17.

Each camp is limited to 40 campers.

All checks should be payable to the Kanawha County WVU Extension Service. Mail checks to the West Virginia University Extension Service, 4700 MacCorkle Ave., S.E., Charleston, WV 25304.
