West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 100 customers on Coal River Road, Maple Lane, Morning Glory Lane, Mountain View Drive, Yoder Lane and Leftridge Lane in Tornado. The advisory follows a main break.
The Richwood Water Department has issued a boil-water advisory for some Richwood customers following a planned outage while water main lines were repaired. The affected areas included Lower Oakford Avenue, Edgewood Avenue, Commercial Avenue, McClung Avenue, BFG Street, Jean Drive, School Street, Home Street, Railroad Avenue, Short Street and Valley Avenue that lost water pressure during water main line maintenance. The advisory is also issued for any area that may have had low water pressure but did not report it.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for approximately 350 customers in Chelyan on MacCorkle Avenue Southeast (Route 61) from Gay Street to Slaughters Creek Drive, including James River Road, Little Creek Road, Westwood Drive, CSX Way, Linden Road Bradley Road and all side streets.
West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for approximately 40 customers in Greentown, Greentown Loop Road to the intersection of Meadow Fork, and Wilborn Road in Oak Hill.
