Charleston police have charged Braheem Jamal Griffin, 25, of Charleston, in the shooting death of a teenager Thursday night on the city’s West Side, according to a news release Friday night.
Tre’Quan Gibson, 19, was found dead in front of the Second Avenue Neighborhood Center shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday. Gibson, who graduated from Riverside High School earlier this year, was an athlete at both Riverside and South Charleston high schools.
