Two federal inmates in WV sentenced for indecent exposure

Two men incarcerated at federal prisons in West Virginia have pleaded guilty to charges of indecent exposure, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell said in news releases this week.

Marco Charles Gilbert, 33, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent exposure on July 2, and 42-year-old Damon Johnson pleaded guilty to one count of indecent exposure on July 3 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Aloi sentenced Gilbert to 180 days incarceration, and he sentenced Johnson to 90 days incarceration, Powell said in the news release.

Gilbert admitted to exposing himself to staff at the federal correctional institution in Hazelton in December 2018 and January 2019, and Johnson admitted to exposing himself to staff at the federal correctional institution in Gilmer County in March 2019, Powell said.
