Two men on the run after holding Putnam business manager at gunpoint

Putnam authorities are searching for two men who allegedly robbed the manager of a gambling parlor on Wednesday morning.

The men, donning tan ski masks and blue jeans, robbed Lisa’s on Teays Valley Road at about 4:25 a.m., according to a news release from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

They confronted the manager and demanded money as she got into her car, deputies said.

One man allegedly pulled out a gun, and both men then forced the manager back inside the business to open a safe. Deputies said the pair escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

Videos and photos are “still pending,” according to the release.

The department encouraged anyone with information about the robbery to call 304-586-9846.
