The culmination of a three-day active shooter training for area first responders will mean more emergency vehicle and police presence at a Charleston building Thursday.

An exercise is planned at the CASCI building at Clendenin Street and Kanawha Boulevard. The training, a joint effort by the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority and the West Virginia Public Safety Expo, will start at 8 a.m. and last all day.
