Trick or treat in Charleston is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, the city announced Thursday.

“Parents are asked to accompany their children if possible, to ensure safety,” the city said in a release. “Motorists are reminded to drive with extra care during these hours.”

The city asked people to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the state of West Virginia and the Kanawha- Charleston Health Department to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
