We need new and innovative solutions to deal with all the abandoned and dilapidated buildings in Charleston. Thank God we have a new administration open to that. It is time to look into a land bank for Charleston.

Hello, if you think the trash in your yard from neighbors not using garbage bags is bad now, wait until the city stops distributing them.

Yes, complain about liberals. We gave you Social Security, Medicare, and the minimum wage. We gave the poor Medicaid, Headstart, and school breakfast programs. We have pushed for civil rights, women’s rights, gay rights, equal pay for equal work, workers’ rights, and affordable health care for all. Yes, we are awful!

All states have an equal say in presidential elections. My vote for Hillary Clinton was counted, but she did not win the state, nor did she win the election by 3 million votes. The Electoral College protects the minority from the tyranny of the majority.

And now it begins. The first Obama Administration official gets indicted in the Mueller probe. Wonder how many more will come. The liberals are getting their just rewards.

I was a registered Democrat for over 25 years. I joined that party for the single reason it was supposed to be the party of the working people. As the liberals hijacked that party I could no longer support it or what it now stands for so I dropped it like a bad habit. I’m now a happy Independent who will vote for a Democrat on the state or local level but refuses to ever vote for a liberal.

Here’s hoping the entire Republican Party sends the governor a big no confidence vote in next year’s primary. If not, surely the entire state will in the general election. Worst governor ever — and that includes two who went to prison.

Let me get this straight — you’re terrified of the word socialist because it means that insurance and pharmaceutical companies won’t be able to charge you more than anyone else in the world for their services?

No confusion necessary. An asylum seeker is not an undocumented immigrant. An asylum request is documented.
