I would like to know if anyone other than myself is bothered by the mounting trash piling up in the ditches from Big Chimney to Pinch? When I drive home from work all I see is filthy garbage, rotting deer carcasses, pop cans, beer cans, clothes, fast food bags and even a child’s pink swimming pool dumped in the ditches. I am embarrassed by it and I want to know who can address this. It disgusting and a health hazard.
Problem with DOH using the low bid process is we end up with low quality roads. If DOH has to put up warning signs for dips and bumps a year after a road opens, the responsible contractor shouldn’t be awarded anymore state contracts.
The liberal pointing out the post Civil War discrimination of blacks left out an important point. It was the Democrats behind the discrimination. They’ve changed tactics in the last century. Keep them poor. Give them stuff. Count their votes
Tax dollars at work. For two weeks the DOH cleaned the ditch along MacCorkle Avenue in Jefferson. Friday’s rain filled the ditch because nobody bothered to clean the drains. This is why we laugh at Justice’s big DOH announcements.
Will the charter school advocates please inform voters how the curriculum of charter schools will differ from that of public schools? Will they be authorized for groups who promote a restricted political and/or religious objective? Will they have admissions criteria?
Shame on the yellow vest protesters in France. A national treasure has been damaged and they are protesting because money raised from private sources is going to the restoration, instead of being doled out to them? Shame on them.
Universal health care is not free healthcare. Just as our taxes pay for fire service, police, libraries and schools, our taxes would pay for our health care so no one is without. Instead paying co-pays and deductibles, taxes would go up to do this. Stop listening to Fox News.
