I sure hope the Republicans and Mitch Carmichael don’t waste a ton of taxpayer money on a special session just to push charter schools again. West Virginia has already stood up and said that we don’t want them. Move on.

Are the Democrats crazy? All they have done for two years is try to get rid of the president. I just changed my politics: No vote for any Democrat. Absurd!

Richie Robb running for mayor of South Charleston again reminds me of Biden and Sanders running for president. Can’t help but ask. Why?

Motorcycles are essentially a recreational vehicle. There are no reasonable benefits to using motorcycles for police work that overcome their inherent danger. Why is the W.Va. State Police getting involved with motorcycles? I think it’s stupid.

I would like to commend the Charleston city garbage collectors for doing such a good job in cleaning up the mess that some inconsiderate neighbors left on Roller Road. They even had to use a shovel to shovel the garbage from the road. They should not have to do that. Shame. Anyway, thanks guys.

Above all else, I am pro working-class people. We also must take care of our elderly and the severely handicapped. The rest are not a concern of mine. Working people pay the bills. We should always be the main concern. What’s best for us is what should drive this country. That’s why I left the Democratic Party. They don’t care about us working people.

Free tuition at community colleges is a perfect storm: higher education poohbahs get more lucre and shorted-sighted politicians get bragging rights. Meanwhile, taxpayers shoulder another unnecessary burden. The classes should be taught at secondary level or regulated private sector. PS: Does anyone at WVU or Marshall ever vote AGAINST tuition increases?
