Christopher Regan’s article says it all. I am afraid that God will punish our wicked country for the atrocities we commit even today against these refugees. Shame!

I am surprised that Sen. Blair doesn’t have property for the third school. Switch-hitter Justice will sign the bill. Voters of Jackson and Jefferson counties, do not vote these bad people in again.

If you have worked your entire life and still make minimum wage, you’re probably a woman.

I’m on the fence about the charter school issue. Not sure separate school systems are fair. At same time. I don’t think our teachers and boards of education are educating our kids as much as just posturing for political purposes.

Liberals want to take us down the road to destruction. They want to force us to accept that which we know is wrong, accept illegal immigrants, and to accept paying people that refuse to work. Any one of those could destroy our country but together they will destroy us.

Climate change is an urgent crisis. Fossil fuels need phased out ASAP. Our coal baron governor is feeding us fake news.

Defeatist attitudes and apathy are rampant among the majority of West Virginians. Probably why the state is in the sad shape it’s in.

A shout out to the staff of Women and Children’s and Charleston General. A Saturday night emergency room visit with our 7-year-old with a broken arm was handled with care and professionalism beyond expectations. All staff from the ambulance crew to the prep staff to the surgeon helped the entire family through a difficult process. A heartfelt thanks to all involved.

When talking about sports, politics, and other contests, are the media wordsmiths unable to think of any substitute words for shootout, shooting and shot? With the terrific gun violence in the U.S., I think it is inappropriate to continually use words that evoke gun violence when referring to normal activities and I wish they would stop.

I will not vote for anyone who votes for the so-called education reform, no matter which party.
