If you’ve worked your whole life and are still earning minimum wage, the problem isn’t minimum wage guidelines.

We need a law that requires voters to decide if we remove or relocate publicly owned statues and memorials. If the people vote to remove one, fine. These items are owned by us all and we all should get a say in their future not just a few.

The U.S. Navy drone Iran shot down cost over $120 million. You’d think that for that kind of money, our investment would be better protected, especially if we’re going to fly so close to Iran. What a waste of tax dollars. We sure could have better used $120 million here in West Virginia.

Does anyone ever notice Mitch Carmichael’s body language when he speaks out against good paying union jobs? He is disgustingly hateful, and he literally shakes as he speaks out against those who simply want to earn a living wage for their families. Carmichael needs to get over his sick obsession with unions in West Virginia.

I’m beginning to think the climate change people are right. We need to go back to horse and buggies. Apparently maintaining paved roads is far more complicated than the WVDOH is capable of doing.

So is the government actually rebuilding all the homes that were flooded in 2016? Don’t we need flood insurance anymore?

Education does not teach homosexuality, it teaches how to accept other human beings for what they are. It teaches understanding and not to hate them. Something they are not learning at home. Understand?

Howard Swint has it 100 percent correct. Those statues were not to honor the dead but are a symbol of white supremacy. How are people of color supposed to honor traitors who only wanted to continue slavery? Get rid of them.

Rather than raiding homes for illegal immigrants, we should be inspecting the concentration camps for compliance with humane conditions.

People travel around the world to visit Rome, Greece and Egypt to view structures built by slaves. Modern day Americans are no more responsible for slavery than the modern day Italians, Greeks and Egyptian.

The venter who is up in arms about their tax money being spent for an atheist or Church of Satan school — do you not see the irony in your outrage? I don’t want my money being spent toward any religiously-based school.
