The change of the font for the obituary notices is not as readable as they once were. The notices appear to be more on the standard of public notices, just a little bigger. I truly am not a fan.

A lot of the reason the DOH is short handed is because they don’t post any job openings. Lewis County is short 15 people and not a single job posted.

Way to go Suddenlink. The cable is coming on and going off day after day, week after week. It’s getting old. Needs to be taken care of once and for all, we are paying customers.

I liked the story by Susan Johnson on Richwood. They do need their own schools. Will the people who took the money repay it? I hope the best for Richwood.

This country which I love and have fought for, is inching its way toward becoming a third-world entity. We have a president who is a laughing-stock by thinking people around the world, a Congress which is dysfunctional/non-functional, a health care system that ruins more people than it helps, a country full of intolerant people, and a government that has lost all credibility among sister nations. I’m glad I’m old enough that I won’t see the further fall of the greatest country in history.

Warner wasn’t the problem with the law suits. Newly elected politicians have always cleaned house when taking over. Difference this time was he was a Republican and the Democrats thought they were entitled to employment.

The Jefferson Road project needs to be 4 lanes all the way to the interstate, with exits for MacCorkle Avenue. Please do not mess this up.

Have to say I was disappointed in Eric Tarr not supporting our Putnam County teachers. I voted for him thinking he was a businessman interested in Putnam County. Guess I was wrong.

We need County and/or State Laws about people allowing their dogs to run loose. People are being injured and killed by dogs that the owner swears will not attack. Dogs will turn on you and they can kill or injure innocent people. Children are at risk while just playing outside. For the safety of everyone, please keep your dogs on a leash or in a fenced yard. Dogs (except for true support dogs) should not be allowed in stores. People are there to shop, not to pet your dog.
