Readers' Vent: Sept. 12, 2019

Vaping is in full stride with teenagers hospitalized daily and we’re still moving forward with legalizing marijuana?? Can we sue the greedy legislators who are pushing pot for the tax dollars they hope to get? Such a disregard for future generations.

What can be done about the trash and built up leaves, etc. The campus and courts need a lot of attention. Is this a school management issue or a board issue?

Since the evangelicals have cast their lot with the likes of Donald J. Trump does it mean they no longer care what the good book says?

I’m sure there was more violence represented by the Republicans nasty anti-Muslim poster than by Mr. Caputo’s shoving the door open.

I’m getting sick and tired of Trump supporters saying they don’t support his racism. If you support Trump it means you support all the crappy things he is doing. You are as guilty as Trump if you support him.

Just what we need; another activist running for office. Whatever happened to the days when politicians were focused on what was best for the country and the citizens? Now days they only seem to care about their agenda, foreigners and things that put Americans out of work and making us rely on the government for everything.

If guns kill people then why do we send soldiers into battle? Why not just send the guns? Liberals can’t have it both ways.

So now Trump has chosen to attack survivors of Hurricane Dorian from the Bahamas. He wants us to believe there are hordes of drug dealers and terrorists among those whose world was destroyed by Dorian and they’re dangerous and a threat to us and should be turned away. It is all a big lie. Trump is truly evil and should never have become president. How much more discord, selfishness and harm are we to endure at the hand of this madman?

What’s next? Disneyland for the president of Iran? Even thinking about bringing the Taliban to Camp David was so wrong on many levels.

What those that support Obamacare fail to comprehend is that people, like my mother, lost their employer sponsored health care and were forced into the exchanges due to Obamacare. My health care costs doubled under Obamacare due to my plan not conforming to Obamacare and countless people lost their jobs when employers cut their payrolls to avoid Obamacare regulations. Those are known facts. But liberals don’t want to hear them.
